Default Thanks

I got the 2.03.01 firmware and reinstalled it. Back to normal again. I can tell you that the 2.04 degradated my P25 reception to the point where I could not pick up systems.

Thanks, expensive scanner working again.

Joe

Default HomePatrol-1 v2.04.01 Released

Same for me, if anyone can send me the 2.03 firmware? My HP-1 was working perfect prior to the update.

Thanks,

Smile Great speaker and pouch for the home patrol

Here is a great bargain for your home patrol, a i home rechargeable mini speaker model ihm60 with pouch for under $ 20.00. You can find this on ebay and other sellers on line. Also available at bed bath and beyond stores. You get one speaker with plenty of power and the pouch you can use for your home patrol

On the Homepatrol external speaker's have to be amplified weather it be in house use or in a Car because the internal amplifier on the home patrol hasn't enough power to play through a non powered speaker) Just headphones you can here some sound but not as you can through the HP-1's own speaker plus it's hard on the Hp-1's finals) The best thing to use is a Amplified speaker Uniden's BC 23A is one of the ones Uniden suggest to use with this scanner)

Now if a person has a Input jack in there vehicle they can plug the scanner into the Radio and the sound can be Amplified through the car's speakers i did this in our 2011 Truck and the scanner sounded great after a little tweaking with the EQ

Yea our Moisture around here has been thin at best on the snow we've only got a couple a dustings an inch or two the last time we got anything close to what you guys experienced was back in 1972 it snowed so much that my Granpa had to use his Tractor to go into town to get supplies. We've had some fairly good snow storms here in the Area but nothing close to what went through your area.. If something like came through here schools would probably be out for over a week the kids would probably be elated. Ra

I'm in the same boat as many others posting to this thread. Would be grateful if one of those with the 2.03.01 firmware would send it to me so that I can revert to previous version. 2.04.01 firmware result in significant reduction in performance.

Can someone send me a link to the older firmware please? I'll upload it to a file sharing site so others can download it as well. Thanks in advance.

Just for the record, I'm using the updated firmware on two units and reception of the Saratoga County, NY, system is about the same as before. No loss in performance noted.
