Does this scanner have the ability, using Butel software, to set the volume off set so some channels aren't so much louder that others within a group?
Thank You

Yes You don't need software to do it, but it is a little easier.

I'm not sure if you're referring to the BC346XT or the BCD396XT, but the answer is "yes" to both. You can change it directly on the scanner as well, from -3 to +3.

Thanks,
I tried to reset them for one group using the butel software that shows that colum but I didn't see a difference on the EDACS system. I'll try it again and listen closer!

If you use AFS talkgroups mode, it doesn't work on wildcard talkgroups. That is, if you have 01---- instead of 01-011, it will work on the 01-011 talkgroup but not the 01---- talkgroup. At least, it doesn't on my BC346XT when monitoring my county's EDACS trunked system. To get it to work, you must enter each talkgroup separately (01-011, 01-012, etc) and not as 01----, 02----, etc. and then adjust each talkgroup as needed. Like I said, on my BC346XT it works like that....don't know about any other BC346XT. I hope this helps.
