Default Bcd996xt power up screen

Is it possible to change my bcd996xt power up first screen manually without using a computer?

Thanks!

You are?
I am gonna guess the Kings English is not your first language
And you cannot change the startup screen through the radio itself.
You must use a software package to modify it.

Very easy. Just Download FREESCAN and you change it easily..all you need is Freescan..the programming cable that came with your 996xt and a RS232 to USB adaptor. $10 - $15 in a computer store or $5 on ebay..
