Arrow HomePatrol Frequency Updates and Favorite Lists - Site's Not Updating

I recently updated the master frequency list (provided usually every Saturday) using Sentinel.

The update was without problem, but when I loaded my Favorite Lists I noticed that the
--site's--- for a specific system did not update to more "updated" frequencies.
This happened with all my 15 Favorite Lists

Does this mean that once a person updates the frequencies, they will need to delete
the Favorite Lists and re-program...or complete some other arduous task... to correct this issue

With My GRE-800, I think all my favorite lists (their appropriate sites and frequencies) update
without issue when attempting to update.

Thanks for anyone who could provide help and/or feedback

The last I read, and as far as I know, favorite lists are not updated. Only the master.

So they all must be deleted....and then re-programmed from the new master?

Delete the old incorrect ones then just click on the new ones and append to your favorites.

RR will show all changed.

Now if it's major - just re-create.

It would be nice if it could compare the items in your favorites so you would even know if there were any updates.

Default Automatic Update to Site's in Favorite Lists

It could be nice if it could compare it...while updating: and automatically
update the frequencies to each site in our Favorite Lists, then advising
us of the appropriate update date.

Extreme does nothing to enhance the radios perfomance. It does provide several valuable diagnostic and discovery modes. It also allow full modification of your favorites lists from the radio display without the use of a PC and the Sentinal software. One later feature is the addition of serial data output from the USB port for feeding third party PC software for trunking analysis (Unitrunker) and virtual control and logging from a PC (Arc Patrol)...both pretty powerful applications.

Not really, I have a few Federal, and some local P-25, plus used it a few weeks ago when I took a road trip to Boston, and heard a lot...The latest firmware upgrade is supposed to address some of P25 audio issues..
If you haven't already done so, then I advise it...
Check out this thread..all you need to know, and how to do it...
HomePatrol-1 v2.04.01 Released

And would do nothing regarding the OP's question on favorites. The database will reload anytime you select what database / favorite to scan.

FWIW - I have never had to rest mine and have had it as long or longer than most anyone on here.

Well from what i read in other places and what i read on the post since getting my HP-1 that favorites and Data base updates are completely separate of each other.

What you have in you favorites list would remain what they are and when loading up the Data Base frequencies they would be the only ones to change. Is this true ?

I'm still learning at a slow pace new things on this scanner every day and i have tried setting up my favorites with not to much success it should be easy but learning that curve ball in the set up is taking more than i would Like it too) but all i can do is try.. b 780
