Maybe you could wait a day or two and try again. Probably some local emergency - power outage, fire, snowstorm, or something.

Maybe they have a small staff and all got the flu. I know that contributed to like 7 people being gone at the same time at my workplace.. Might be a long shot, but this time of year, its not impossible..

Or they didn't want to answer the phone like for instance call leave a message and won't return the call. Yes, this does happen to people.

So obviously there was a technical problem or an emergency..ie: power failure..police op in the area..fire next door yesterday...since they put that message on their system, something had happened.
Things do happen...call them back monday...i am sure it is not a conspiracy against you...

There is no real way to know what is going on. I worked in a call center for a big box mail order company once and the whole system crashed every once in a while. One time it was down for a week before the techs could figure it out. Turns out a wire in the computer room burned out and got the whole system dropped from the connection. They still made us come in to work though to do "light cleaning duties". Probably just some freak of nature type thing. They'll be back

Unhappy Never Got Back After Sending In - HP-1

DaveNF2G: Don't think your suggestions will work. I have tried to call about 20 times over a period of 1-2 mo....

Bottom line: Uniden obviosuly does not have the man power to answer calls, and it isn't in
their best interest (I guess) to hire a few people to answer the phones

I sent my HomePatrol-1 to the TX center; I was provided with (I assume It would be an RMA Code)
and provided both my receipt and a detailed explation of the problem.

I asked them, in writing, to contact me either way...regardless of the outcome.

I sent the unit ithe first week of November. I have not heard ANYTHING from them

I tried, in good faith, both by phone, and by sending in my HP which was less than 6mo old.

Again, they have detailed call-back information concerning this.

In case any Uniden rep is reading this, please PM

I will let the group know what happens. I consider this to be absolutely unacceptable.

Man that does bite spending that Money and then having to send it in and No feed back from the Company i wonder if the Quality is leaning more toward the Quantity of the product.

It sounds like the same thing that happens to Verizon Customers when they buy a Phone and like the glass cracks and the Customer had Nothing to do with but yet Verizon or Motorola nor Corniong does not want to stand behind it..

This also happens when hold times are through the roof

to avoid longer times they will shut the system off due to lack of manpower
