Default Search/Scan on HP-1?

Still setting up my new HP-1 that I got for Xmas. How do I set in Sentinel the Scan/Search setting for a site on my favorites list? Like you do on a 996T?

I've got new talkgroups coming online and I want to monitor them till they get updated on the software.

Thanks!
Jim

Program them into a Favorites List, then set the system in the Favorites List to ID Search (ID Scan is the default).

Hi Paul, great radio for traveling. I'm in Sentinel I see the favorite list, I see ID search but I don't see how to change it. Tried all the usual clicking stuff I can think of... duh
any help would be appreciated. I guess I need more coffee this morning...

Have you opened that favorites list in the favorites list editor in Sentinel?

From the top tool bar, click "Edit" ---> "Edit Favorites List".

Highlight the System in the left pane, then click the "Options" tab in the right pane.

I couldn't figure that one out my self i guess more reading is needed to get that job done) Rest of the learning on the Hp-1 has not been to bad but when i asked again about the extreme hardware edition the $100.00 bill out the wazoo! the Rep. at Uniden said unless your using it for a tool or a professional device type of thing i wouldn't drop a Dime on it.

With him being the third one at Uniden to tell me this. that extreme edition must not be what it's cut out to be or worth the $100 dollar bill Hum! but the screen shots of it look cool..

It is definitely what it's cut out to be.

For those of us that appreciate exactly what those tools do, and the time and effort they can save (some on a daily basis), it's worth every cent... without question.

There are features there that are not available on any other scanner at this time.

But, If they don't have any benefit for others, then they don't have to worry about it.

That's why it's an "option" that you can take or leave.

If Uniden included those features by default, and then charged *everyone* a hundred dollars more for the scanner...... that would be quite unfair.
