Default Uniden BC125AT Antenna Options
Hello,
I have a Uniden BC125AT and it has a small antenna with a BNC connector. I want to pick up more frequencies around me. I am currently in Bismarck ND AKA Burliegh County ND. I want to pick up Minot and other close towns. What type of antennas should I get?

I just bought the same scanner and find that it pulls in fairly good from a distance with just the rubber ducky antenna. I mainly use mine mounted in my vehicle with anexternal antena and it puls in great. Are you talking about a different portable antenna or a larger, permanent antenna? What frequency ranges are you looking to receive?

Are you looking for a better duckie antenna? Or a mobile or a base antenna?

i 3rd the diamond rh77ca. its GREAT for VHF HI and UHF. doesnt do too bad on 800mhz either. It's 16 inches long though. That doesnt really bother me once i think about how much better it performs then stock.
