okay... what did I do wrong ?

I have a BC346XT handheld. This scanner has been working perfectly until today. When I power on the scanner, the display reads "Scan Mode... Nothing To Scan" I can press the hold button and see all the channels by rotating the volume knob. I can press the Scan button, and it goes back to the "Scan Mode... Nothing To Scan"

I have probably hit a wrong button.

Anyone have any ideas?
