Where are you? What zip code did you enter?> What 4 police channels did you move to a favorites list? Which 2 channels work? What date is the database in the HP-1?

Check what service types you have selected in the menu screen. I had the same problem with some ems channels I was trying to listen to and found out that I didnt have the ems service tag selected

Those are talkgroups - what sites / frequencies? Asking as I have seen people create a favorite on a trunked system with NO sites or incorrect sites, or sites with no freq.

As FF75 suggests, both Newark PD2 and Fremont PD 2 are tagged as "Law Tac". Make sure that service type is turned on.

Looks to me like they are on this system: Alameda County Trunking System, Oakland, California - Scanner Frequencies

under Co Fire Talkgroups Channel 1.

Sir, you are new user. As such all of your first posts are moderated. You didn't need to start a new topic on the same thing you have here. I deleted it. You apparently have posted (with the above approved post) enough posts to come off of moderation. Please, go read the posting guidelines as you were instructed to do when you signed up for the site.

The data you are using to look up does not appear to be current. If you got those TG IDs from where I think you got them, it has not been updated since 2004. Why you use a site that is woefully out of date and then ask questions here? Go to the link that UPMan provided above, look under County Fire and you will see that Fremont is dispatched by the county under Control #1.

Are you saying you didn't see it listed where Paul sent you on the link above? This link will take you directly to the entries. It would appear they are dispatched on TG 18480.

You can add channels to your favorite list(s) manually, without copying them from the database. The 5th icon from the left on the 1st toolbar is EDIT FAVORITES LIST. It lets you add/change/delete stuff.

It takes a while to learn Sentinel. It's not documented very well. Just relax and be patient.

In sentinel, (and RR) for trunking systems the system will be under state/county/statewide systems, not state/countycounty systems. Once you open "statewide" then pick the trunking system that you are interested in and your county will be listed within the trunking system data.
Only single frequency systems will be under "county systems" in the file tree.
