Uniden Home Patrol 1 on sale at Radio Shack

The Uniden Home Patrol One is on sale at Radio Shack for $424.99 through June 22. That is the cheapest I have ever seen it new, not refurbished. If you want to use it with a BNC antenna, you will have to buy adapters. I also had to pick up a male BNC to female BNC adapter (Radio Shack part # 278-116), but you can get them cheaper on eBay.

The radio itself is great, crisp and clear, and pretty easy to work.

This price is not honored at my franchised Radio Shack store. The product page for this scanner will say "Prices advertised on this site are for online orders only" after you enter your zip code for your local store. But maybe if you are near a company owned Radio Shack you can get it at this price.
