Unhappy Need help BCD396T LTR

Hi All!

Hope someone can help me with this. I programed my 396 with American Medical Responces LTR Freq's (in order as listed on this site). I set the radio to LTR, put in the freqs (for colorado springs co.) and loaded it to the radio (using Uniden software). But I get nothing. If I run them as just FM, I hear the transmissions. How do I need to make the LTR work. (just got the radio 3 days ago and am very confused) HELP!

Alex

If this is the system you mean, then the 396 (nor any other scanner) will monitor it. Note that under system type it says "LTR Passport". That's what makes it unmonitorable. If it was a straight LTR system, you'd have no problem.
I should add that, as you found, you can listen to a specific channel, but the 396 nor any other scanner will follow it like trackable systems.
