BC 796D Question

There is a couple of frequencies in my area that use Apco 25 and I would like to know if when trying to adjust sound quality is the LOW the only one that can be adjusted because if not I have not been able to adjust the Mid or the Upp. If the Mid and Upp can be adjusted please give me the info. on how to do so. Any Info would be greatly appeciated. Thanks TRamrod38

You could try the Auto tune feature. Press the Priority/Transfer button when you catch a P25 comm.
The radio says NOW AUDIO TUNING1, the radio will automatically tune the numbers in the upper right (toward 0000) and then the radio has a double beep when it hits the optimum setting.
When auto tuning, the radio says NOW AUDIO TUNING2 and NOW AUDIO TUNING3 until tuning is completed.
You can then press “E” to lock in the new setting or “RSM” to get out of the Audio Quality mode.
Then press Manual followed by Trunk, and then Scan to resume.
