Default programming

Not sure if this necessarily should be here but since I'm buying uniden.....are these new units, say the 15 and 246, capable of programming the "odd" freqs? Such as 154.7125....I haven't gotten anything new since those "steps" have become more commonplace. I don't know how long they've been in usage but I'm thinking this is a fairly new "practice". Thanks people!

I have a 246, it will let you set the modulation setting to 7.5 the new split on most freqys but, we have a VHF-LTR system here and it rounds the LTR freqys to a 5.0 split but it makes no difference hearing the system.....

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to figure out how much loss their might be if you're not close by seeing as these "mid-freq" numbers seem to be low power.
