Uniden programming software for 396

Has any one else experienced this issue. When I am uploading a file from the scanner to the software, the attenuator setitngs are not being saved. I normally set these as I come across noise on a specific channel.

I don't know if I am doing somthing incorrectly or if this is a software flaw.

One thing it may be worth remembering is when you "Write To Scanner" make sure you tick " Erase memory before writing".I have found this is required.It makles a cleaner job.
& can overcome various problems.
Best also to set port to 115k or takes ages to write a large config.
