Question NASCAR freqs?

I got the Uniden BCT8 back on Fathers Day. I live about 3 miles from the California Speedway in Fontana Ca. My wife thought I could listen to the in car communications with this scanner. After looking through the paper work that came with the scanner, The Uniden web page and a general search of the NASCAR site we are unable to find the frequencies fo the individual teams.

The box and the rig both have the NASCAR logo on it. Are they pre set by chance? Any help in pointing me in the direction to a site that has these frequencies would be greatly appreciated.

Also at 3 miles should I plan on hooking up my exterior antena?

Thank you in advance for ANY help.

My BCT8 and box has no NASCAR logo to be seen, you sure you have a BCT8? The links listed here are great resources.

At 3 miles probably so.

Most teams use low power systems.

Terrain could be a problem also.
