996 question help

hello all while doing a custom search in ranges 794-805 it does not stop on frequencies 796-9812 796-6312 796-6343 796-6312 it skips rite buy them. i can scan these on the psr-500. it shows in the manuall that this should scan these. is there a reason why. when i push the hold button and manually turn the knob it does not show these numbers. i dont understand this. can anybody help clear this up for me. thanks in advance frank

It could be step size issue, but it should be able to hear the right frequency since its so close although it wont be able to stop exactly on the frequncy just tune to the closest Freq
