Uniden BC2500XLT - Good for anything?

Picked up a Mint in original box Uniden BC2500XLT today from a friend for $20.00

Is this scanner good for anything or should I just dump it on eBay?

First intruduced in 1993, it was a flagship at that time.
With the range of 25-550 & 760-1300 MHz.

Has no Trunking or Digital capabilities. It can be used for a racing scanner, although its kinda big.

Or to listen to some ham frequencies, fm radio, or any other non encryped frequency out there.

They were cell modifiable, but now its pretty much useless since most analog cell phone are gone.

Hey for $25 I would keep it..
