So I have taken another users code that was dead ended (by permission) and have created a new application to make reports out of your FL files. this code is up in beta - so have at it.. let me know if you find issues or want features.. I haven't tested against HP1 files yet.

I have made some major enhancements on the original code.

The new tool (one reminder that its hosted on go-daddy and they suck for speed)

BCDx36HP Sentinel FavoriteLists Tool

You must have Uniden Sentinel installed and functioning with Favorite Lists configured. After you have configured at least one Favorite List in Sentinel, the following directory (shown is an example only) will be populated with data files.

ZIP-up the files in C:\Users\-username-\Documents\Uniden\BCDx36HP\FavoriteLists
This Directory has multiple files like *.cfg and *.HPD (this app uses them all)
Using a simple archive application like 7Zip or the compress right click menu option in windows.

Once you have a zip file containing the contents of that folder, upload to this tool. You can run reporting on the file.

here is another help in windows 7/8 the path would simply be this

%userprofile%\Documents\Uniden\BCDx36HP\FavoriteLists

however I have no idea why the website on chrome shows "Lists as Li sts" you need to correct that paste - it gets angry with the %

Documents\Uniden\BCDx36HP\FavoriteLists (%userprofile%\Documents\Uniden\BCDx36HP\FavoriteLists)

thanks for the Job helps me tell you exactly what went wrong..

Your only uploading the hpd file, I also need the cfg file in the zip see this screenshot if it helps.

Documents\Uniden\BCDx36HP\FavoriteLists
This Directory has multiple files like *.cfg and *.HPD (this app uses them all)

I also made that error more verbose to detail the exact missing files.

I have seen one attempt to use the tool with a very large FL file (the user had 50 files processing) and the app hung up, I am working on that hang up.

Also I think a saw a user have HP1 work successfully.

Looks good - and yes, GoDaddy defines the word "slow". A pic of the GoDaddy logo would be beside its definition in the dictionary, but the pic wasn't served in time. But, of course, you work with what you have, and their price is pretty good.

Doesn't work with HP1 files - says it's missing f_list.cfg. The HP1 files are named differently.

f_list.cfg is favorites_lists.config in an HP1, and f_000001.hpd is favorites_000001.hpd (etc).

I do like the reports delivered on an x36HP config. May I suggest, if you have mathematical functions available when building the report, that you divide the frequency value by 1000000 in order to get the actual frequency (i.e. 857.6125 instead of 857612500).

Also might be wise to post the type of report at the top of the output.

I believe that I got it to work with HP1 files by creating a copy of favorites_lists.config and naming it f_list.cfg.
