396XT 1.11.01 Firmware

Continuing this (closed) thread I want to ask about the problems with P25 LSM / Simulcast decoding with firmware 1.11.01 - if it is better to switch back to 1.10.00 ?
Also if i see right 1.11.01 is still the newest for 396XT - wonder when a new is comming ??

I have seen reports that the older firmware may work better but it depends on the system, so you would need to try it first.

Our new county system is being installed and is P25 simulcast so it is a wait and see for me.

Normally Uniden does not announce new firmware until it is actually released. I would hope any new firmware would correct the previous issue with the LSM.

The P25 threshold adjustments allowed with the new firmware are extremely beneficial on the Moto II simulcast system I monitor.

P25 Mode and P25 Threshold. See the release notes for the firmware.

The gap from the time it was closed to this thread to me speaks volumes.
All new XT, HP 1's from that January firmware announcement and onward come already having the firmware update in them. Again that speaks volumes too.
