Three thousand plus for a frequency guide?!?!? Either someone at the website has twitchy fingers and hit an extra number (or two) or is smokin' some really good weed. LOL!!

Expensive Scanners

The most shocking part of the SEARS ad was "Scan Cat-lite plus" for $50.00 marked down to $45.00 as IF that would make them sell? the horror, the horror.

For that price you could buy several various scanners and have a heck of a man cave. Maybe a new pc to dsd with also for sure or save a few more and get a apx lol.

Not really Sears

With the exception of a few tools, I haven't shopped at Sears in a long, long time.

But like many dying retailers (Best Buy does it too), Sears is trying to get on the Amazon/eBay bandwagon. Notice not *one* of those scanners is actually sold by Sears, but by their "marketplace" sellers, which are basically anyone with enough skills to post an item, and give Sears a cut.
