I use a dual band diamond clone antenna. 18' tall. It works for all , low band through 950 mhz. The ST2 works fine too though they are flenzy and at height, they will get wind, and possibly ice build up. Come spring, you wiull have good metal for tomato plants possibly. My clone is a WORKMAN brand and its been up for 15 yrs. I did have one at 225 ft on a water tower but one winter did it in. The mast clamps were too light for the wind load. This antenna is made for the ham bands so its cut alittle lower than PS but for monitoring it works fine
