Default Why does it display "h" after the NAC?

I was just wondering why the BCD436HP shows a lowercase "h" after the NAC code. For example, on this channel it shows NAC:141h. I very much understand what a NAC code is but why the letter "h"?

The h means it is a hexadecimal number.
