SD card access error

I have only been having my home patrol for 4 days and I have been getting this sd card access error telling me to remove batteries and external power for one minute.I already plugged it to my computer and ran sentinel>home patrol>clear user data..After that it works as it should for a few times but then the error comes back. What is causing this? Please don't tell me I got a bad unit.

I have a SanDisk Ultra 32 GB card in a auto dash cam. It started doing funny things (camera did). Put card in my BCD536HD and got SAME error. Put 4 GB card back in scanner, all is well. The 32 GB card is probably bad.
