Have you tried IFX? Hold on the channel then press function 7 and see if that helps. Could be an image or adjacent channel overloading the front end.

Is there a chance that you clean up the Radio Scanner Accessories page and add real descriptions that let us know that the Rubber Keypad is for which scanner and if it's in stock without needing to click on the item? And yes I do see the Model: BKEY0149001. 99% of us don't know that it's a Keyboard Rubber for BC60XLT-1.

And what is a "Decoration Piece" BCT15X DECORATION PIECE ?
I've passed your suggestions on. The decoration piece has been renamed, it is actually the faceplate for the scanner.

Yeah, this is an odd one. My instincts want to go for something with the system in your area or environmental interference, but I would hate to write it off as such. Try what Jason suggests, but It might be useful to call us at 1-800-297-1023 for some more thorough troubleshooting.

What is the right FW for the WIFI? 7.28?

I will proceed from there.
Based on what has been mentioned here. The 536 must see a WIFI signal from a tablet, phone, laptop to activate the AP mode. Is that the why the unit is designed to work?
Also it was mentioned to change the static IP address. Is there a way to change the static IP address? I cannot find that option.

Thanks for the consolidated thread,

Is there any way, perhaps with a firmware update, to improve the s/n ratio on VHF and UHF narrowband FM on the SDS100. P25 sounds fine.

I am not sure if this is possible, but it has been passed along prior to this message.

Are Uniden planning to offer a more durable button replacement for the BCD536HP?
