How to programme a Uniden BC355C

We just got a Uniden BC355C. We know it is per program. What we like to know is how to put in our own program channels. There are channels that we like to add to it, but it seen like we just can't find out how to programmed it. Please is there anyone out there that can give us a hand. This is really driving me crazy. Its simple once you figure it out. The first thing is to go to what freq. you want to program say its 154.145. step to it then hit program on the scanner, then it will start flashing, then hit private and it will direct you to add it to what ever number you want on the private band. I think you can put 50 freq. in the private band. Hope this helps.
