does it still have FM audio 88-108? Too bad it couldn't pick up the TV audio like the BCD396 has done in the past.

With a 4gb card, unless they have added a ton of data that's not part of the database (which is only a couple hundred MB at most), you should have days of recording space.
I believe Paul (UPMan) said it should typically hold 2 weeks' worth...right?

Maybe he did; I distracted myself commenting on some dumb remarks made on the side comment bar once or twice.

I can certainly get a couple weeks on my 32gb cards on the HP1.

If I heard him right he said the 4GB should hold about 2 weeks' worth but the slot would accommodate cards up to 32GB in size, which would really hold a lot. I could have misunderstood but that's how I got it.

It still has the FM radio band but TV audio is a no go on any scanner since OTA TV is now digital.

I'm still left wondering if any improvements related to LSM/CQPSK P25 have been made.

Downloading the manual now. An important area that was not addressed is will it have a belt clip and what type? I guess I'll see if it's in the manual when the download completes.

Thanks everyone for the info about the SD card and recording time. I must have missed this in the video. I also remember him saying something about March next year, yet the info panel in the OP says they'll be available January 2014. Perhaps just for pre-order in January?

I was reading the pdf file and looks like you can program by hand. The page is 41 on the bottom.

Some additional features coming in March 2014 is what he said, I believe. Jan 2014 is availability month for models shown.

Looking at the owner's manual, it looks like the multi-colored LCD backlighting is gone in favor of the little alert light. That's... unfortunate.

The manual shows a belt clip. In case you haven't read it yet. No big knob hanging off the back, but I can't tel how it's attached.
