BC898T Trunking Bank and List Scanning Problem

My BC898T in trunk scan will scan the bank with trunked frequencies and the IDs that go with it. While scanning it will sometimes stops on the ID and other times on the actual frequency. Is there a way to turn off the frequency portion of the trunk scanning so it will only display the ID?

On other Unidens I've had, this tends to indicate that the quality of the received signal is poor and the scanner is trying to reacquire the control channel

I would consider a better antenna..;..Mike
