Multiple Patients Flying 3 Medical Choppers to Wendover
Hyw 93 alt, 2 miles south of Wendover.
Action on: Tooele Co. SO, Tooele Fire 1, Air/LZ 1, Airmed Disp.

Up to 5 patients involved.

They flew 3 ground transported the rest. The story is on KSL and others now. They were heading over to the hot springs out there for swiming.

Come to find out one of the victims is an aquaintance of mine. A retired Captain on Bountiful Fire Department. They were actually headed to Blue Lake for a SCUBA open water certification class. The class was run out of the same shop in Bountiful that I used to be a PADI Assistant SCUBA Instructor at. It is amazing there were no fatalities from this accident, pretty bad. All involved are recovering well at this time.
