SO just released the name of the victim over the air. They also are stating that "he has an enormous wad of $100.00 bills in his pocket" indicating this might be drug related.

ABC4 - A man about 43-years-old was shot in the back of the head Tuesday night around 1300 East and Fort Union

The shooting is believed to be the end of a road rage incident that started near the Smith's store at 700 East. Gunshots were reported at this location.

The man is in critical condition at a nearby hospital.

The attacker in the first shooting was driving a vehicle described as a green Toyota Tacoma extended cab pickup.

KUTV - A man was shot several times, including in the head around 9:30 pm on January 15, 2008.

The man is in his 40’s and he was shot at an apartment complex at 1300 east and Fort Union Blvd. in Midvale.

The suspect is on the run and is believed to be driving a Toyota Tacoma, extended cab.

Friends drove the man to the hospital but apparently stopped at a Smith’s grocery store for help.

(KSL News) There was a shooting near 1300 East and Fort Union Blvd. tonight.

Our crew at the scene tells us a man and a woman in a Ford Taurus got into a road rage incident with a man driving a green Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

The driver of the Toyota pulled a gun, fired into the car and hit the man in the back of the head. He's in extremely critical condition.

The search is still underway for the suspect.

We will have a complete report on Eyewitness News in the morning.

KSL said last night they took that guy off life support, he died right after.
