GREETING, FOR A SUNDAY

I'VE BEEN MONITORING MY ICOM RECEIVER AND NOTICED THAT FREQUENCY 161.9750 MHz
IS MAKING STRANGE SOUNDS, LONG SQELCH TALES AND A LOT OF BEEP~POPS...
SOUNDS LIKE THE TRANSMITTERS MIGHT BE IN COLORADO OR SOMETHING, ANY THOUGHT?

Thats just above the railroad frequencies, but just below the Weather radio freqs probably something federal or something. some Trains go to colorado but i think the railraod frequncies stop at 161.400 then the over the air live broadcasts from radio stations take over til about 161.800 or so. it could be that
