Someone last summer posted the new Scipio site and two control channels, 853.43750 and 853.93750, which I have since been using successfully on every run north-south. I notice it has yet to get posted on the database. I don't have more specifics. Perhaps whoever posted that may chime in here...

It looks like it belongs to WQOH738 (UTAH COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY NETWORK) FCC Callsign Details. Do you have a site number? If not I can post it with a dummy number until it is found.

The post in the link by bchris shows site #13 in his screen shots from October.

Also the link you posted is spot on, you can see the antenna array as you drive past Scipio Hill, and my signal strength meter jumps off the map when I hit the summit. Its range is roughly 50 miles.

Okay, I added the Scipio site. Be sure to submit any voice frequencies that you pick up. Thanks for posting this!

I entered location data from the FCC license, so you should be able to see it on a map if you click on the site. You won't be hearing it from Price. :)

I know I sometimes get to travel but only got as far as Richfield and I didn't hear it to that point.

Info on Sanpete County Sites and Scipio Pass

I went to Manti Saturday I couldn't hit Scipio, I hit White Pine 643h-0017 (Site 17) I hit Barton Peak 7202 site 34, Levan 7202 site 33, Clayton Peak 7202 Site 26, Mount Baldy 7202 site 23 although weak at times in Manti they were using it for Event 10 For The Pageant, I would say Event 10 Is For Sanpete County.. White Pine Needs Submitted to DB and Event 10 Could be added as Sanpete Countys

Nice job! Do you have a control channel and any other frequencies for White Pine?

Event channels are assigned based on need. Event 1 through I believe 8 are used by the main counties along the Wasatch and 8 I believe is for Washington County. Event 9-16 are assigned as needed. Event 10 yesterday was being used for the chemical spill in SLC and I know that the Cruise In in Logan usually uses Event 15 and 16 over the fourth for Main Street crowd control. There is an assignment protocol per UCAN by need on those.

Thanks Enos. Yes those frequencies are all listed on the license. I added the White Pine site. At some point someone can find and report the Alt Channel.
