I've heard that SLC has rebanded. What are the new freqs? Some of us don't have access to a computet. Why don't you put them in the SLC public safety listing?
Yes it is correct. I listen to it everyday. Matter of fact, I'm one of the guys who mapped a SLC radio with Trunker so I KNOW it's right. If you can't hear it now but could before, it's because they moved their transmitter location.
I should clarify this. SLC Police & Fire, SLC Int Airport and SLC Public Works were previously on separate trunked systems. The old public works system was a Type-I system. PD/FD and Airport were Type-II systems.
None of those frequencies were above 861 MHz and didn't have to reband. They combined everything into the current AC33 system and moved to a new site. So I correct myself saying earlier that they rebanded, they never had to. They reconfigured. Hope that helps clear up the confusion.
As posted in the SLC Public Service database (and they were good this morning):
855.23750, 856.48750, 856.96250, 857.23750, 857.48750, 857.96250, 858.23750, 858.96250,
859.23750, 859.26250, 859.96250, 860.23750, 860.26250, 860.48750, 860.76250, 860.96250.
I am curious that you have computer access to post message, but not to look at the database?
If you have knowledge of a different/new system being used by SLC, please provide us with the info so we can look for it. I did a search thru the 800 Mhz band a couple of weeks ago, and did not come across any new systems that could be associated with SLC. If you know something we don't please share.
