Hi, trying to help a customer choose a scanner for Salt Lake area.
Looking over the database all seem to be Analog trunking?
Is this correct at this time I dont see where he needs digital or might that change soon?

At this time, the only digital system is Hill Air Force Base in Davis County. An Analog scanner works well for Salt Lake area. Be aware that several of the Ski Resort use Mototrbo which is not "scannerable".
When I program a scanner for someone I like to provide them a copy of the UCAN TalkGroups so they can chose what they want programmed.

Not radio shack pro 163 /164

I do not recommend the radio shack pro 163 / 164 version...
The audio gate dos not open for the last digit of "0"
