back to no activity for a couple of days again. not even the occasional random sentence in the noise. I'm going to wear the tuner out spinning up and down the dial so much. ;-)

The camp 5 run where were you at to get that shot. All I saw was swamp anywhere near the the bridges out there.

Nice shooting tho love the IR look

07/06/09 22:00z strangely quiet right now. I mean the noise isn't even noise.
female in there doing a couple of test counts, but I'm missing a location call. she's got that "Marvin The Martian" off-freq sound. ;-)

thanks,and its a r7000 set for milair GEP ,from the necap or tacamo's.mostly necaps-304.25 mux
a lot of phone patchs today on 11175 and 11235.

The unit in the lower left of your station is what I was referring to-^^^I don't see an R7000 in your collection.

Wow I take that back-the R7000 is 99% identical on the face as the R71. My mistake.

Is the MICOM-3F available for sale to the general public, assuming you'd want to drop the $$? Just curious...looks like a nice rig!

its on loan to us,and i think anyone can buy one ,they do list at 6K,but it out does my icom on hf.and thats where it stops,they have no scan other then ale.no ex speaker,sq setting is fixed.

Getting strong reception now with the longwire/discone what am I hearing here? Is he referring to North Island Naval base in San Diego? Or is there one in Illinois-I know the phonepatch was going to an Illinois area code-is that where the pilot was located?
