Default 6727.0

Last night around 0700z I picked up activity on 6727 kHz USB that sounds aero or military related possibly coming from Japan. The users spoke in English but had noticeable Japanese accents. Unfortunately the signal was extremely weak and throw the accent into the mix very hard to understand.

Here is audio to see if anyone is able to hear any clues better

Note: I removed much of the dead air static between transmissions to keep the file smaller and easier to play.

Cool

Hmm very interesting. I heard "Kodiak" a few times. I wonder if it was a training flight or possibly a transport flight.

My search says that freq is possibly used by the Japan SDF units:

Japan
Airforce
AIF USAF Yokota AFB
4724, 6739, 8968, 11175, 13200, 15016 & 17976
Discretes 11217 & 13203

Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force (Navy)
JJG8 Atsugi NAS 6751 JJO4 Hachinohe NAS 9022

(Possible Naval Air/Airforce) 5708, 6688, 6727, 11184, 15019 & 17994
