A few nights ago heard a hushed man's voice saying "cookie...cookie...cookie" repeatedly for about 30 secs.

This was really odd and lucky to catch, I was only dialing up through after sitting on 11.175 for a bit.

I do know 'cookie' is a nickname for the food service crew on a ship. Maybe this is a marine HF channel and the drunk captain was hollering for food on the wrong microphone...

It's within an aeronautical band but not an assigned channel. He was probably trying to call his girlfriend on the intercom, pressed the wrong button and messed up the radio in the process.
