8891 USB Gander - Madagan Radio 11390 USB / 8837 USB

I'm getting Gander Radio this evening quite well into San Antonio, TX on 8891 KHz USB Right now they are primarily working flights that are transitioning to the polar routes enroute to Asia.

Gander is assigning many of these flights on those polar routes to Madagan Radio on:

Primary: 11390 USB
Secondary: 8837 USB

Nothing heard on 11390 / 8837 so far from here.

"Right now" is not a time that I recognise! How about a UTC time?

Magadan would be a good catch - he's about 60N 30E - any radio comms over the pole is a good catch - I have never heard any South African station - ham, aero or any BC.

I get them here too in the 0500utc hour-you hear Gander ID at :50. I cannot get a good copy on aircraft but can hear voice.
