TUSKER-328 freq 5717 USB with a phone patch to Halifax Search with an estimated time to Greenwood. Told to remain on this freq for primary.

Sounds like there may be an active SAR mission going on.

According to what I found TUSKER is a C-130H from the CANFORCE 14th Wing CFB Greenwood. He is still checking in with Halifax Military every half hour or so. No further seach info or activity at this time.

Ok this may not be a SAR mission. From info given during their last check in it appears as if they are tracking something.They stated they are still tracking at this time and are requesting if there is any further traffic from Greenwood.

Canadian Forces Base Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Canada. Primarily operated as an air force base by Canadian Forces Air Command and is one of two bases in the country using the CP-140 Aurora anti-submarine/maritime patrol and surveillance aircraft.

Interesting they will usualy use the RESCUE callsign instead of the the regular squadron callsign if they are on SAR .
