Here are a few tips. Make sure the software is the same for both. If so, always read a radio first and then edit the programming information. Never just start programming from the programming screen. In the beginning I messed up one of my Vertex radios because one of them didn't have 12.5 KHz spacing in the hardware, just 5 and 10KHz spacing.

Thanks but the vx132 and the vx160 use different software to program the radios...The 160 use ce-44 and the 130 use ce-74..the frequency I'm trying to program on the 160 is 151.895 witch can be programmed to It but it also has a pwr2 and a code 058-047 writhen on the same line beside the frequency...on the 160 I don't have this option...I know absolutely nothing when It come this stuff I'm so green you can mistake me for a blade of grass any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like that "code" could be the problem. If the 160 does not have any codes enabled, then try to disable that code on the 132. Or you could try to duplicate the same code on the 160. You also want the enc and dec codes the same. If one is 047, make the other one the same.
