Vertex CE-11 software

We are trying to program a 24 channel Vertex FTL-8011 using CE-11 software. When we plug the programing cable in the display says CL which we believe is Clone mode. Does anyone know how to get into programing mode?

We are thinking that there is a key sequence at power on?

All our other radios 2011, 4011 &7011 (99 channel) all say programing when the programming cable is inserted.

Anyone have experience with CE-11
