And he knew he was cooked before the squad got turned around.. As a truck driver, and former school bus driver I can find no excuse for this what so ever.. And he deserves whatever he gets from both the state, and his company...

I had a friend take and do an enlargemen for better clarity, and we found that yes, the bus was stopped, yellow warning lites were flashing, BUT NO RED LITES OR THE STOP SIGN DISPLAYED.

There fore, under national traffic laws that all states follow for school bus's, the truck driver was legal.

More then likely the trooper stopped him and gave him a warning about maybe going to fast,

Bottom line, unless the driver comes on here and says some thing, we will never know.

You should watch more closely. I can clearly see the stop arm deployed when the officer is turning around.

And if you watch the video, you can see the flashing orange lights switch to flashing red lights long before that truck came through.
I believe the truck driver knew they were busted when the blue lights started flashing.
Throw the book at 'em.....

The red lights were clearly flashing before the driver reached the front of the bus.

National Traffic Laws? That's a new one.

Under Ohio Traffic Laws, which pertain to this incident,

ORC 4511.75 It is no defense to a charge under this division that the school bus involved failed to display or be equipped with an automatically extended stop warning sign as required by division (B) of this section.
