GTA fans- GTAV?

With Rockstar releasing LA Noire in May (which looks awesome) and no new GTA since 2008, you'd have to think a GTA 5 should be due for release within the next year or so.

-where would you like the game to be set?

If they're not going to redo Vice City, which IMO they should, maybe do a non-ghetto version of San Andreas. That game would have been great had it not alienated everyone who hates rap culture and rice burners, like myself. Maybe they'll do it right this time around. I would love to see a GTA New England, with Boston and Providence being the cities, and they could put in Cape Cod, the islands, and the mountains (and hicks) of northern New England. But maybe I'm biased.

I say make a first person camera view. There's a mod on the PC gta4 version in which you can do this. It looks awesom (Youtube it if you want to see). I'd also add pipe bombs and granade launchers full time. It definately needs some new weaponry. Bring back the random side jobs like taxi driver, paramedic, and rampages.

Wow, no replies, kind of surprised. Guess everyone is sick of GTA. Anyways, some people are saying this game will be out this fall, October-Novemberish. Apparently they're pushing to get it done before the contract of the people who make this game expires. Should be interesting to see what happens.

I'm a huge GTA fan. I always thought Chicago would be a nice touch, and bring back Tommy Vercetti!

They should do Philly ! With all the mob stufff that goes on there amongst other things. Then I wouldn't get lost so much .

I currently have been playing GTA IV. Does anyone know how to get online and play with other people. I can't figure it out. I signed up for that social club thing and windows live. It logs me in every time I play but I can't figure out how to actually play it online.

You gotta take out your cellphone and look through the options and pick multiplayer

The reason they dont use real vehicles is because car companies don't want inaccurate representations of damage to thier vehicles

gta 4 is really good but i cant wait until they finally make gta 5 but they have a pc game called AMRA 2 u can mod it to have police cars and do pursuits

I have ARMA2 For the longest time I couldn't run it on my machine. Now that I can, I can't get through the training mission.

I wish there were more people who played online. I like ARMA2 because it reminds me of Red Orchestra which was a WW2 game that had infantry and tanks, it was a great gamne when you had 2 teams of 32 battlling it out over Koenigsplatz Berlin

I would love to see a remake of San Andreas GTA SA is my fav of all GTA games, i only play it on the PC using the SA-MP multiplayer mod.

It's no GTA at all, but a lot of new technology and game-play. While there are some gun "battles" L.A. Noire isn't really a shooter but an "investigating" game, based on LAPD in 1947. They've got some really well done graphics of both the city and the characters.

My wife and I (both former LAPD dispatchers) did hours of "voiceover" work as dispatchers for the game, and they really went all out to make the police radio traffic (codes, unit numbers, terminology, radio procedures) as true to late-40's L.A. LAPD's callsign at the time was "KGPL" which they used... the long-lived KMA367 didn't come along for another two years.

Wow! that must have been really fun to work for Rockstar. How did you and your wife land the job? Did you see scenes as you did the voice overs?
