Default Richmond area scanner users.....

I was curious what kind of scanners are popular in the area.

I was also wondering how the pro-95 was working for you if anyone uses one.

I use a PRO-95 and it works just fine. I love the Trunking feature especially.

Default Richmond area scanning

The pro-95 is fine unless you want to listen to Richmond, Henrico, or Chesterfield Police/Fire. If you are interested in those agencies, you will need a digital scanner.

I have a couple of PRO-96's and they are exemplary in handling this area, and anywhere else I go thus far. (except ProVoice country)

Default Scanners

For Richmond and surrounding areas, Pro-96 works very well monitoring the digital(Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfiels, and Colonial Heights) and EDACS systems (Hanover).

Curious... what do you listen to in the Richmond area without a digital scanner?

I use a RS Pro-2096 and two Uniden 796D's for local and long distance monitoring.
