Default Alexandria VA is gone from their old system

On Monday morning this week, the old type II trunking systems used by the city of Alexandria is gone. I suspect they followed the move like Fairfax county and migrated to a new P25 trunking system.

You are confirming that the Project 16 system is off the air? If so, I will deprecate it in the database.

Here is the new Project 25 system Alexandria is using:

Alexandria (Project 25) Trunking System, Alexandria , Virginia - Scanner Frequencies

Thanks,
Dave

I guess I need to reprogram our Alexandria feed equipment to account for this.

Oddly enough, there are 5 listeners connected to the feed at this time. You would think they would report a problem

Well I will say that I have 4 different commercial radios that were set up on the old type II system that are complaining about loss of signal or out of range. They were working on Sunday and on Monday morning, all was gone while located inside the city of Alexandria. My guess is that the old 001A system has been put to bed the same as Fairfax County's 552B system which is right next door to Alexandria.

Yes I can confirm that the old TRS CC is silent.

I really did like how they were still using the old TRS only for the PD Dispatch for the last couple of months. Now I have to figure out a way to get this Simulcast P25 system to come in better on my pro-96.

I have deprecated the P16 system in the database.

Please submit updated frequency information for the P25 system - right now, there are only four frequencies for this system.

And if anyone monitors new talkgroups, please send those in too!

Thanks,
Dave

Default Arlington County Project 25

For some reason my PRO-106 won't track the new P25 system. I tried monitoring the cc in manual tune mode and it decodes the system but when I set it to analyze the cc, the system i have programmed in, it is full strength but can't lock on to the system to track it. I have reprogrammed the frequency for it and have tried monitoring it from near Reason National Airport and also near Sugarloaf mtn in uppwer Montgomery County which I can both get the signal full strength. Even with attenuation it's full strength but can't track.

Is there something I'm missing?
