Default Been out the loop

Been out the loop for a while and was wondering if they ever came out with a scanner that will do the VSP new system. I had a 796d and sold it when it would not do it.

Hey Wire ... There are scanners that have been out for a while that will do it. I know the 396T, 396XT, 996T, 996XT will, and I know RS and GRE make models that will (just not familiar with those). I've been listening with my 396T since the day VSP in Culpeper and Fairfax started using it.

Regards.

The GRE PSR-500/600 and 800 are all able to track STARS.

Yeah, welcome wirehead! The only warning I would have is that the VSP system may be tricky, and will require a bit of research about things like where you want to monitor and what talk groups/services. If you just dump the whole thing in your scanner it will overwhelm you!

The good news is that you've come to the right place. There should be any number of users here who will help, and may be willing to just send you a file. You WILL need a pc and software unless you have a LOT of patience.
