From my understanding they are building a P25 system, It's not active yet, but towers are being constructed and I've seen communication tech companies at the dispatch center

I'm getting a weak P25 control channel on 856.56250, looks like Suffolk's new system just got turned on.

sounds like test teams are out testing, testing in Booker T Washington Elementary getting hits off TG 1026, signal is significantly stronger than the P16 system

Running Pro96 on the system, its showing as P25 Phase 2

That's weird because a couple tonight had Xts 2500 on there sides so did the fire department.

Pro96com was acting weird tonight, so I could be wrong
, but when I heard testing it wasn't showing as the regular DG or D2 if it was Phase 2. It was showing as Dg, which I think was X2 TDMA,so we'll have to watch it more

Lots of today's test traffic is encrypted.

System "Flavor" is also alternating between Phase 1 and Phase 2. It's showing today as a Phase 1 system again.

I heard testing on consoles,portables, in the clear and encrypted. TG's 1,2,3,4. Sounds like they were testing the emergency buttons.

1041 popped today, but on ORION 1041 shows up as Suffolk Fire Rescue 1, wonder if this is a coincidence or?

Tg 1041 is definitely not fire Dispatch, hearing what sounds like data on 1041 with a constant beeping. On Pro96 com, it shows no Radio ID
