Hello there. I've been using Unitrunker for a while now over the "competition", mainly because it supports multiple CCs/sites simultaneously.

I have a few ideas for new features:

- Show IDs of denied talkgroup affiliations -
I've noticed that in another P25 decoding app (Pro96Com), it shows the ID of the talkgroup that was denied access to the site. This is pretty useful, as it allows one to correlate radio IDs and talkgroups of units outside of their home sites.

- Have a way to forward traffic from multiple decode machines to a "central" instance of Unitrunker -
This would be slick. If one had enough radios, they could be placed near other sites, with the traffic forwarded back over the Internet back to the main copy. This is perhaps partially implemented already in the "remote" receiver type?

Keep up the good work.

- Dave

Hi Dave;

Show IDs of denied talkgroup affiliations

The rejects with a zero group ID are displayed that way because that's how they're sent over the control channel. I have no idea what pro96com is displaying in between those rejects. If you send me a decode log, I'll take a look.

Pretty much. It's actually a peer to peer network. Anyone could choose to share the control channel stream with others. You could, in theory, fire up Unitrunker with no receivers and leverage any control channel feeds in your area. That project keeps getting side-lined by other work.

I'm very interested in your peer to peer sharing of control channel data, hopefully you get time to implement it some day.

I private messaged you the URL to my logfile dump. Here's some excerpts for the rest of the community to see:

The PSRDump-XXX.txt file has no timestamps, and I'm not sure how to interpret it so I didn't paste it here...

I was expecting a Unitrunker decode log but I can work with this. I'll take a look this weekend. Thanks!
