I just learned tonight that the problem I have been having with my Dell D630 laptop was not my laptop but a security warning. I have had problems running anything with DSD and SDR Sharp or DSD and FMP, anything where piping of information is involved using VB Cable.
I have had this problem for ages and I was going to go buy another laptop because I thought my laptop was not powerful enough to handle the above. Well tonight I just learned that one must find the VB Cable.exe folder left or right which ever click on the properties box. At the bottom of the box you might see nothing or you might see a warning stating " this file came from another computer and will be blocked " so there is a box that gives you the option to allow, click on it and allow then click on okay. Do the same for Lame ". If you don't see this warning then you are okay.
Now my little laptop that I have been cursing for the last six months is now sounding as good as any scanner.
