DSDPlus Unvoiced Speech Quality

I'm getting good decode using DSDPlus and Unitrunker. I'm stuck on what to set the Unvoiced Speech Quality (-u <num>) setting. I can't figure what it does.

Right now I have it on default (-u3) with good results.
