I typically run a 396XT with Pro96com for control channel decoding. Lugging a laptop along can sometimes be inconvenient. It would be slick if there was a way to capture the control channel data with some sort of compact device.

Has anyone tried using some sort of serial data logging device to capture the control channel output? Something along the lines of this: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12772

I would then need a way to import it into Pro96com, so that the data is merged with the rest of the data.

I've never used the Logomatic but it says it saves the file as text. I would think you would be able to copy and paste the text into RS232 Monitor (EVM Software) and then use a virtual serial port to port the info into Pro96.
